OHSA Standard Number CFR29-1926

Per OSHA Standard Number CFR29-1926 Subpart CC – Cranes and Derricks in Construction, responsibility for clearing the job site of potential overhead hazards and surveys of any potential underground hazards which includes assessment of ground bearing pressure that may interfere with safe crane assembly, disassembly and working range, is the responsibility of the Controlling Entity including any additional costs which may be incurred as a result of these obligations. This Standard is applicable to power-operated equipment when used in construction that can hoist, lower and horizontally move a suspended load.
